Fine Ribbed Rubber Matting [Previously BS921/1976]
SM550 Fine Ribbed Rubber Matting Previously BS921/1976 is a high quality, British industry electrical safety matting to British Standard BS921/1976 with the regulation standard stamped on the reverse of the roll at 1000mm intervals. Fully certified and tested to 15,000 volts with a recommended safety working voltage of 650v. It has a fine ribbed, anti-slip surface pattern on one side and cloth impression finish on reverse.

Our electrical safety matting IEC 61111 is independently tested to meet the international safety standard. This product offers protection from 1,000 – 36,000 volts. All of our electrical insulation matting features the regulation standard stamped on the reverse side of the roll at 1000mm intervals.
The top surface of our electrical safety matting IEC 61111:2009 features a fine ribbed design. This is a popular design choice across many electrical safety mats as it gives the mats an increased surface area, which helps to disperse electrical discharge. The underside contains a cloth impression finish to give the mats additional grip.
This product is highly flexible and can be rolled for easy transportation. You can also cut the mats to fit any area size using standard cutting tools.
